And within each field, there are specialised initiatives for trainees with particular qualifications.
As far as the current programmes for managerial training are concerned, top priority is given to themes such as improving the quality of service, maximizing commercial operations, rationalizing the network, and increasing profitability, as the main strategic levers for giving the Company a competitive edge.
Regarding flight crew training, there has been a highly qualified Flight Training Centre at Fiumicino since 1961, available not only for Alitalia crews but also for other airlines on request. The courses are held on state-of-the-art premises and are designed to ensure efficiency, safety and quality on board, covering both the technical and commercial aspects of flying.
Ground staff training takes place at the “Zamberletti” Front Line Training Centre at Fiumicino. Recruitment, selection and operational training of personnel who assist passengers and aircraft are carried out by Alitalia Airport. The aim is to ensure that all the ground staff who wear the Company uniform are technically trained and have the same standards of behaviour. | | |
