A BRIEF HISTORY OF ALITALIA

On 1 May 2005, following reorganisation of the Alitalia Group, Alitalia Servizi is set up to take over the Company’s business support activities. On 7 June 2006, the Company’s new website, www.alitalia.com, comes online. It provides a number of new services (web check-in, tele-check-in, self check-in, the chance to print out boarding passes at home) in order to simplify and speed up travel procedures.
In October 2006, the fleet showed off its new livery: the lateral green band moved to beneath the windows, the plane’s “nose” became white, and the logo green and red. |
