Alitalia finalized the top management team appointed to implement the 2015-2018 strategic plan.
Matteo Mancinelli is the new General Counsel of the Company, in charge of legal and corporate affairs. Mr Mancinelli was a former partner of the law firm DLA Piper, where he was actively involved in the Alitalia - Etihad negotiations. He has also held positions in Simmons & Simmons, Deutsche Bank, Allen & Overy and Coudert Brothers.
Paolo Dionisi is the Vice President International and Public Affairs, he is responsible for liaising with national and international institutions. Mr Dionisi worked in the diplomatic service for over 20 years covering various roles both in Italy and abroad, including the position of Italian Ambassador in Abu Dhabi and Muscat.
Clemente Senni is the Vice President Corporate Affairs, responsible for corporate communications, media relations and CSR. Mr Senni has developed his career mostly in corporate communication consultancy. He was also Alitalia’s (CAI) External Relations Director for 2009-2012
In addition, from 1 February, Mr John Shepley has joined the Alitalia’s management team as Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, after having concluded his mandate with airberlin.
