First Alitalia flights after the reopening of Rome Fiumicino airport

Following the reopening of Rome Fiumicino airport,  Alitalia informs that the departure of flights will restart from 2 p.m. in compliance with the communication of the aeronautical authorities.

In the meanwhile, in order to provide assistance to the passengers who have to fly back to Italy, Alitalia has arranged some ferry flights (with only crew aboard) to the following destinations: Chicago, New York JFK, Miami, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Moscow

 

Some ferry flights are departing to European destinations with the sole aim to relieve congestion in the airport and to reorganize the operations.

Alitalia also informs that the following flights are expected to arrive:

AZ611 New York JFK – Rome

AZ615 Boston – Rome

AZ 631 Miami – Rome

AZ 853 Abu Dhabi – Rome

AZ 507 Tirana – Rome

AZ1354 Trieste – Rome

AZ1432 Turin – Rome

AZ 477 Budapest – Rome

AZ 809 Tel Aviv - Rome

 

Considering the airport congestion and restrictions, all passengers booked on flights departing in the afternoon are kindly requested to reach the airport with adequate advance. Alitalia apologies again for the inconvenience that its passengers are experiencing together with us.
