Hurricane Irma: Alitalia cancels Rome-Miami flights on Saturday and Sunday

In the wake of hurricane Irma path over the Florida coast, Alitalia has cancelled its flights between Rome and Miami scheduled for tomorrow 9 September and for Sunday 10 September.

Alitalia operates a daily flight to and from Miami and flights AZ 630 and AZ 631 have been cancelled.

Since Wednesday evening, Alitalia has been offering all its passengers holding a ticket to Miami (and Havana) with departure between 6 and 12 September, the possibility to receive a full ticket refund or rebook their flight with no penalties.

Alitalia is contacting all passengers affected in order to provide the necessary information and assistance and rebook them on the earliest possible flights. Further updates will follow in the coming days, including information on flights to and from Havana which are currently operated as usual.  

Alitalia recommends to all passengers traveling from and to Miami in the coming days to check the current status of their flight by calling the toll-free number 800.65.00.55 (within Italy), or +39 06.65649 (from overseas) or by visiting alitalia.com website where further information is also available on flight rebooking.
